How it fits together

One sterile suite, from the door to the shipper

Each piece of equipment has a place in the room and a job in the process. People and materials enter through controlled steps, the room keeps the air clean, ISO 5 hoods protect the point of work, and the line fills, seals, labels and ships.

  1. 01Controlled entry

    Gowning & pass-through

People wash and gown before entering. Materials pass through an interlocked pass box, so no door opens straight into the clean room.

  2. 02Positive pressure

    ISO 7 cleanroom

The buffer room that surrounds the work. Fan filter units push HEPA-filtered air in, and a pressure cascade keeps air flowing from the cleanest space outward.

  3. 03ISO 5 work zone

    Hoods & containment

The cleanest air sits where vials are open. Choose by what you handle: product protection, operator protection, or negative-pressure containment for powders.

  4. 04Inside ISO 5

    Fill, stopper & seal

Sterile RTU vials are filled, stoppered, capped and crimped. The Auto Filler comes with its own ISO 5 enclosure, or goes under an ISO 5 hood you already have.

  5. 05After sealing

    Label & ship

Sealed vials are labeled for identification, then packed for temperature-controlled delivery to the patient or clinic.

Positive pressure

Keeps contamination out

Most sterile compounding rooms run at a higher pressure than the space around them, so air flows out through doors and gaps and dirt can’t drift in. USP <797> sets the air classifications for sterile compounding.

Negative pressure

Keeps hazardous material in

Rooms and enclosures that handle hazardous drugs or potent powders run at a lower pressure, so air flows in and the material stays contained. USP <800> covers containment for hazardous drugs.

Automated vial line

Fill, stopper, cap and label, run by one technician

The Team 4 Auto Filler and horizontal vial labeler combine four manual steps into one automated line at 40–50 vials per minute (fully stoppered). Manual filling, stoppering, capping and labeling typically takes a team of 5–6 technicians.

FAQ

Equipment buyers ask

Who sells pharmaceutical vial filling machines?

Team 4 Products supplies the Team 4 Auto Filler, an automatic single-head filling, stoppering and capping machine (3–30 mL, 40–50 vials per minute fully stoppered), available with or without a laminar-flow enclosure, plus vial labelers, with installation, training and replacement parts.

What equipment is needed to establish a vial filling operation?

Typically an ISO-classified cleanroom with ISO 5 hoods, material pass-throughs, a vial filling machine, stoppering and capping, and vial labeling, plus the vials, closures and consumables to run it.

How do I choose a cleanroom for pharmaceutical manufacturing?

Start from your process and required ISO classification, room count and pressure relationships, hood count and utilities. We scope modular cleanroom layouts against those requirements.

What is the difference between automatic and semi-automatic vial fillers?

Semi-automatic fillers rely on an operator to place and remove vials and suit lower volumes. Automatic machines like the Team 4 Auto Filler unscramble, fill, stopper, cap and crimp vials continuously, so one technician can run the line.

Do you sell lyophilization freeze dryers?

Yes. The T4P-200T freeze dryer has a 2 m² shelf area, −80 °C condenser and automatic hydraulic stoppering, holding up to 4,100 × 5 mL, 7,800 × 3 mL or 14,400 × 1 mL vials per batch.

Which vial labeling machines work with pharmaceutical packaging?

Vial labelers are matched to vial diameter and label size. Tell us your vial formats and we will confirm a compatible labeler and label stock.
